HUMAN-CENTRED TRANSFORMATION
A management discipline
This document establishes Human-Centred Transformation as a management discipline concerned with governance, judgement, and responsibility under conditions of persistent systemic misalignment.
The discipline exists to address what follows once misalignment is acknowledged as structural and ongoing. It clarifies the responsibilities that cannot be delegated to programmes, methods, or delivery teams, and reframes transformation as a sustained governance challenge rather than an episodic execution problem.
Within the HCT body of work, this document is normative rather than descriptive. It does not provide guidance on what actions to take or how to implement change. Instead, it sets out the standards of responsibility, attention, and judgement required to govern transformation coherently over time.
This document is not a playbook, an operating model, or a statement of best practice; it sets standards rather than instructions under which any legitimate approach to transformation must operate.
